Two separate collisions at different times at the same location Saturday sent three people to hospital.
The two crashes happened in front of the Irving gas station on Bay Bulls Road in Kilbride, the first just after 3 p.m. and the second just before 8 p.m.
The first incident was a rear-end collision in the northbound lane that may have been caused as one of the drivers suffered an apparent medical emergency. The driver of the car that was struck was taken to hospital while the other driver was treated on scene by Eastern Health paramedics.
The second collision happened in the southbound lane on the other side of the road when a car apparently made a left-hand turn across two lanes into the Irving/Tim Hortons location. That collision sent a woman and a child to hospital.
None of the injuries was thought to be serious and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating.
