St. John’s, N.L. — Around 4 p.m. the RNC responded to a theft from a jewelry store in the west end of the city.
A 36-year-old man fled the area but was apprehended within a short time.
He has been held for a court appearance this morning on charges of theft and breaching court orders.
It was later determined that the accused also had an outstanding arrest warrant that was additionally executed.
