Update: Confusion over possible legal challenge on Upper Churchill 
The Telegram
Confusion reigned today over the possibility of the provincial government suing Ottawa and Quebec for redress on the Upper Churchill contract.
At a morning news conference, Natural Resources Minister Kathy Dunderdale made the surprise announcement that the province was pondering the move.
But after question period at the legislature this afternoon, Dunderdale said she misspoke.
Justice Minister Jerome Kennedy instead noted that the province is looking at whether or not the Innu would have a case to seek redress from Quebec and the feds.

Bill from St. Johns, NL. writes: You got to be kidding me we are going to sue our owe selves. Do these people relize that we are apart of the Federal Government. But wait now that is how Lawyers Think $$$$$. We sign a Contract which has screwed us for a 100 years so we have too live with it till then or we should be trying too work together to compramize. But hay what do I know I am just one the little people.
